The Admission Committee is interested in more than just grades. The process of selection is not an exact science, and different standards and goals are used in selecting students.

In general, the Institute consider the following factors in the selection process :

  • Undergraduate records and related indications of past academic performance.
  • Performance on the Entrance Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
  • Traits such a motivation, maturity, and leadership abilities, as suggested by a variety of information.
No single factor is likely to guarantee admission. An admission committee looks at all the information in combination from the perspective of the admission policy, institutional goals, and past experience of the Institute.
