The department provides hostel accommodation to all selected students at the hostels of SIBER.

The department has a separate library with lots of books in addition to the main library of the  Institute.

The Journal section of the Institute has a large number of journals and magazines, these include the leading journals in social work and related areas.

The department has latest audio visual equipments and projects and good collection of educational cassettes.
