The M. Phil. Degree shall be normally
considered a first research degree with emphasis on teaching
methods & research methodology and advanced study of
the subject. A M. Phil. candidate, after the completion
of the degree may allowed to develop his dissertation in
to a Ph. D. thesis on the recommendation of the guide.
