FACILITIES

Library facilities: The central library has rich collection of more than 55,000 standard Indian and Foreign text-books/manuals worth of about Rs. 1,50,00,000/-. Of this, about 3000 books (worth of about Rs. 25,00,000/-) are in the field of Environmental Science, Management, Engineering and Technology. The library also subscribes about 30 national and international research journals of repute related to Environmental Sciences.

Laboratory facilities: The PG Department of Environment Management has four well-equipped, sophisticated and spacious laboratories. The dimensions and the area of each laboratory are shown in Table 1. This includes a separate sophisticated instrumentation laboratory and a separate computer laboratory. The Environmental Laboratory has instruments/equipments worth of more than Rs. 40,00,000/-. Table 2 shows the list of sophisticated instruments/equipments available in the DEM.
