Welcome Function:
Every year second year students arrange welcome function for MBA-I students welcoming them to the Institute.
Farewell Function:
Every year first year students arrange the farewell function for their seniors wishing them luck in their future endeavours.
Association with Cambridge ESOL
Institute is the official preparations center for Cambridge ESOL, BEC series of exam such as preliminary, vantage etc. and also official centre for conduct of these examination, arranged by British Council of India, Mumbai. The cost of this activity is borne by Institute.
Teaching Methods & Class Room Amenities :
The class rooms are well equipped with modern teaching aids like DLP, OHP, Computer System, Audio system. The teaching pedagogies like, Lectures, Seminar Presentations, Group Discussions, Role Play, Workshops etc. are used and Seminar Hall is made available for such activities.
SDLL/ CPSD :
Student Development through SDLL and CPSD programmes for personality and Communication skills development are organized in the MBA Department.
VISITING / GUEST LECTURES:
The experienced and competent industrial executives, Academicians, Alumni as well as independent professional practitioners are on the panel of visiting resource persons
SUMMER TRAINING & PROJECT REPORT :
After completion of first year students must undergo the summer placement in organization for a minimum of 50 days. He/She should prepare a project report and undergo the Viva-voce examination as per the examination pattern.
PLACEMENT CELL :
The Institute provides placement assistance through the Placement Cell with an independent Training and Placement Officer. Maximum efforts are made to place the students in various organizations. Every year the Institute organizes Alumni Meet for the benefit of students. Various companies are invited by the Institute for campus placement.
INDUSTRY INSTITUTE INTERACTION
In order to get the feedback from Industry, executives from different industries are invited for Institute-Industry interaction. Taking proper cognizance of the feedback from industry, MBA curriculum is revised regularly.
INDUSTRIAL TOUR :
Local industry visits are organized for first year students, while industrial tours to places like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Goa, Mumbai etc are organized for second year students to give them practical exposure of the classroom learning to theories a concepts in management.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES :
Students are deputed to outstations like Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore etc. for attending and participating in competitive events organized by different Institutes and Event Forums.
Sports Activities:
The Institute provides sports facilities to students and organizes inter-class sports competition. Other Amenities on the campus are bank, canteen, Xerox centre. |
