We have been receiving
excellent response for our project as well as a campus recruitment
programme from software organizations. Our alumni are appointed
in leading companies. Some of the companies who have recruited our
students are : Tata Technologies Ltd., Mahindra British Telecom,
Mastek, HCL, National Informatics Centre, National Aerospace Lab,
ISRO Satellite Centre, Wipro, Tata Unisys, XLNET, Kale Consultancy,
L & T, Siemens etc. We wish to continue our support to industry
by offering our current batch of students for placements. Our students
got placement through campus recruitment programmes of Kale Consultancy
and L & T.
Our students have to undergo project training in their sixth semester.
In order to familiarize the student with the real world situations,
it is imperative for them to work in various types of organizations.
Therefore, each student spends about 150 days in an organization
and learn from the experiences.
The Placement Cell maintains database of leading organizations and
industries in India. The Placement Cell conducts various aptitude
tests for our fifth semester students. These special tests sharpen
the abilities of our students and make them perfect for campus or
placement recruitment. As a part of placement activity, we also
arrange industrial tours to leading cities in India.
The placement cell also conducts WINIT, annual competition at National
Level for the students from various colleges, on 13th and 14th August
every year. This competition queries on programming language, computer
concept, spot programming, software design and development and an
exhibition of software projects.
The Placement Cell also arranges weekly seminars by software professionals
for the benefit of the students.
