BRIEF HISTORY :

• The Institute became autonomous in the year 1995 and the examinations of various courses were conducted in the month of Oct./Nov. 1995 for first time by the newly created Department of Examination.
• Initially it was headed by Prof. Dr. D.H. Hindocha who worked as first Controller of Examination for the above mentioned examination.
• Next came Prof. Dr. S.S. Wadkar who took the charge from Dr. D.H. Hindocha and worked as Controller of Examination for 1996 to 2002.
• Next came Dr. D.H. Hindocha who took the charge from Prof. B.T. Bandgar and worked as Controller of Examination for 2002to 2007.
•  Recently the responsibility is assigned to Prof. (Dr.) A.R. Kulkarni and he became the Controller on 2007 onwards, under whose control examinations are conducted. The Controller is assisted by the experienced staff members. They are working with Institute since many years. All the Controllers and their assistants have shown exemplary, meritorious and hardworking, qualities in the discharge of their duties and responsibilities.
